About the Arts Council
Muskogee Area Arts Council is a nonprofit group organized in 1998. Our mission is to promote and advocate for the arts in the Muskogee area and serve as a partner in community development for this region.
Our purpose is to promote the preservation and development of quality arts programs, activities, and education for all ages while recognizing the importance of our multi-cultural heritage.
We partner with Oklahoma Arts Council, City of Muskogee, Muskogee Chamber of Commerce, and other local organizations to sponsor and support diverse artistic media. Celebrate spring and the arts with the Azalea Banner Project!
Muskogee Little Theatre, Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame, Muskogee Art Guild, are some of the organizations we work with to grow an "ART SMART" community and MORE!
